A new leak has revealed an upcoming feature for Samsung Galaxy Watches, known as “Pointer Mode,” which could potentially allow users to control their Samsung TV through gestures. The feature was discovered in the Samsung Wear OS SmartThings app, hinting at wrist and finger gestures for TV control. Activating Pointer Mode involves shaking the watch hand, with various gestures like ‘Pinch to select’ and fist gestures for different functions. This exclusive feature is expected to be available on flagship models like the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7, and may require compatible Samsung TVs for operation. While there is no set release date for this feature yet, it represents a potential game-changing upgrade for Samsung smartwatch users.
