Garmin Watches Experiencing Boot-Up Issues
Hello everyone! I am Matt Evans, Senior Fitness and Wearables Editor at TR, bringing you the latest update on Garmin smartwatches. Today, users are facing a frustrating dilemma as some of the top models such as Garmin Forerunner 265, Garmin Venu 3, and Garmin Epix Pro are stuck on their boot-up screens. Customers have contacted support and have been assured that a solution is in the works. We have also reached out to Garmin for their response on this matter. Stay tuned for further updates as we monitor the situation closely.
In the midst of these technical glitches, I can confirm that the Garmin Instinct 3 and my colleague Catherine Ellis’s Garmin Fenix 7S are functioning without any issues. Reports from Reddit users showcase examples of the problem, with watches like the Fenix 7 Pro getting stuck on the ‘power on’ screen, rendering them unusable.
It’s noteworthy to mention that Garmin faced a similar setback earlier this month when their companion app, Garmin Connect, encountered a widespread outage on January 8. While the major Connect functions are reportedly online this time, it’s the watches themselves that are affected. Rest assured, we will update you if any changes occur and Garmin Connect faces disruptions as well.
