Google Chat wants to help you dump Microsoft Teams for good

The migration tool was first announced in December 2024 and is now available for all Google Chat users. The ‘Chat migration’ feature in Google Chat enables administrators to seamlessly import Teams data by connecting to Microsoft accounts, uploading migration maps and identity maps, and setting message migration start dates. This tool also allows for delta migration, generating reports on completed migrations, and requires Google super admins and Microsoft Teams Global Administrators to take action.
