In a recent turn of events, the popular mobile superhero card game Marvel Snap faced a setback during the US TikTok ban, becoming inaccessible to users in the region from January 19 to 25. However, the game is now back online, and the developer Second Dinner has announced a compensation package for affected players along with bonus rewards for all players.
For US players above collection level 500, the compensation package includes various in-game rewards such as keys, XP, credits, tokens, gold, tickets, medals, and booster packs. Similarly, US players below collection level 500 will receive different rewards like cards, XP, credits, gold, variants, and booster packs.
Non-US players are also eligible for rewards, albeit slightly less generous. Players above collection level 500 will receive a package including keys, tokens, credits, variants, and booster packs. Those below collection level 500 will get a set of rewards that includes cards, credits, variants, and booster packs.
Players must meet specific eligibility criteria to qualify for the rewards, with different requirements for US and non-US players. Notably, the developer plans to work with a new publisher to prevent similar issues in the future.
The compensation packages are seen as generous and will provide significant benefits to players. However, players must meet the outlined criteria to receive the rewards and will not be able to claim more than one package. Stay tuned for further updates on Marvel Snap and its offerings.
