In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the upcoming game protagonist Naoe is noted as the ‘fastest Assassin’ in the series history according to creative director Jonathan Dumont. The character is designed to run at high speeds, utilize gadgets for stealth, and offer a ninja-Assassin gameplay experience. Naoe’s running animation is also inspired by the Naruto run seen in the popular anime, with a nod to this style included in the game. Scheduled for release on February 14, 2025, Assassin’s Creed Shadows aims to emphasize a more shadowy and stealth-focused approach reminiscent of the Tenchu series. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Amazon Luna.
