Razer Blade 16 Unveiled at CES 2025

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Razer has just introduced the latest addition to its gaming laptop lineup, the Razer Blade 16. This new model is touted as the thinnest gaming laptop ever released by the company, measuring just 0.59 inches at its thinnest point.

In terms of design, the Razer Blade 16 showcases a sleek and stylish look that defies the traditional bulky stereotype of gaming laptops. To address the challenge of cooling powerful components in such a slim device, Razer has implemented a new vapor chamber cooling system with a dual-fan design and 0.05mm exhausts.

Despite its slim profile, the Razer Blade 16 is equipped with top-tier hardware, including a QHD+ 240Hz OLED display and the latest Nvidia RTX 50 series laptop GPUs, offering up to an RTX 5090 with 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Noteworthy is the shift in processor choice, as this model is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, marking a departure from the usual Intel processors in Razer laptops.

While this transition may not spell the end of Razer’s collaboration with Intel, it highlights the company’s quest for powerful performance while maintaining a slim form factor. The Razer Blade 16 is set to launch in Q1 of 2025, promising to deliver exceptional gaming capabilities, though it’s anticipated to come with a higher price tag.
