Tesla has unveiled the updated Model Y, codenamed ‘Juniper’, with significant upgrades that mirror recent Model 3 improvements. The sleeker exterior features full-width light bars and enhanced aerodynamics for improved efficiency and a quieter cabin. Interior enhancements include ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a new touchscreen system. The ‘Juniper’ updates initially apply to RWD and LR AWD models, offering increased range and faster acceleration. The pricing for the Launch Series Model Y in China starts at ¥263,500 and ¥303,500 for the AWD variant. The revamped Model Y is expected to launch in Australia, Europe, and North America soon, aiming to revitalize sales following Tesla’s recent decline. The refresh aims to address the outdated appearance and range limitations compared to competitors.
