The Nékojita FuFu, a cute robot cat by Yukai Engineering, made its debut at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. This tiny gadget sits on the edge of your mug or bowl and uses an internal fan to cool your hot drinks or food by simulating different types of breathing. Inspired by a father’s struggle to cool his baby’s food, the FuFu has various ‘breathing’ modes, making it seem lifelike. Yukai Engineering also introduced Mirumi, a robotic creature for people-watching, and the Amagami Ham Ham, a gentle robot critter that nibbles on your fingertip. With practical uses aimed at helping new parents and seniors, the FuFu is set to go on sale in Japan later this year for around $25. Roborock’s robovac with a mechanical arm, Samsung’s Ballie robot companion, and a promise of a 2025 launch, as well as a robot lawn mower, are other highlights from CES 2025.
